Our time in the city is over for a while. We thoroughly enjoyed it, but find ourselves already settling into being at home again, despite having to unload a MASSIVE amount of STUFF. How do we gather so much while we’re away? We do it all the time. I don’t think we’ve ever gone away and come back with less. Hey -ho the joys of living with The Lavender Ladies.
Bark-a-minute has already been in to play with Dougal( Blue the spaniel next door) and is now making his presence felt on his deck, living up to his nick-name. His voice is the only noise to break the stillness other than the coo-ing of pigeons and twittering of birds. The leaves have raised colour to the landscape offering a tapestry of shades of green on hillsides where thankfully the snow is no longer attempting to lie. The water ripples gently, though there is an absence of wind. Stillness and quiet prevail. It’s nice to be home.
