Today we made it to the SNP conference in the SECC in Glasgow. This is the first political conference I’ve attended since the days of working with the SSCUP for the 2006 elections.
I’m not really a political person, but I could
be converted. The energy and professionalism on display today was both admirable and uplifting. It was most profoundly evident as the aspirations and dreams for a return to nationhood were spoken of by young people, Scots whose only experiences have been within a country governed by a Scottish Parliament.
This eloquent voice has no axe to grind from past experiences. It is a fresh voice of hope, ambition and commitment to make this country the best it can possibly be.
Scotland’s future is in safe hands!
